Fijian Drua vs Hurricanes Predictions - Canes backed to win tight encounter

In their two previous matches, each team has won once. In their last meeting, Fijian Drua came out on top with a 27-24 win in 2023.

Fijian Drua are currently seventh on the table with three wins from seven games.

The Drua had a bye last week after losing 41-20 to the Rebels in Melbourne. However, prior to that, the Fijian Drua beat the Western Force 31-13 and the Waratahs 39-36 at home.

They also beat the Crusaders at home, so they find themselves on a three-match winning streak on home soil. Away from home they have, however, struggled for any sort of consistency.

The Drua had a bye last week so should be fresh to go with a full-strength lineup.

The Hurricanes are flying this season having won all seven matches to date. They are top of the table, five points clear of their closest rivals.

This past weekend the Hurricanes, despite being underdogs at home, beat the Chiefs 36-23 in a commanding performance. Prior to that, the Wellington outfit thrashed the Highlanders away and the Rebels at home.

The Hurricanes may opt to rest a couple players, but they know the Drua will be a tough nut to crack away from home.
