Fijian Drua vs Moana Predictions - Drua backed for comfortable home win in Super Rugby

Moana, who are very good on their day, have shown grave inconsistencies this season though. Despite their win last weekend, they conceded 47+ points in each of their three matches prior.

The Drua began the season with two defeats, then beat the Crusaders at home before losing to the Chiefs. They bounced back to beat the Waratahs by three points at home and then thrashed the Western Force 31-13 at home.

The last two weekends have, however, seen pretty heavy defeats. Fijian Drua went down 41-20 at the Rebels and last week lost 38-15 at home to the Hurricanes.

Drua needs this result badly considering Moana are on the same points as them. They should put out a full-strength side.

Moana have surprised many this season with their performances. They have been inconsistent, but after only winning once last season, they already have three victories this time.

In round two Moana beat Fijian Drua in a very exciting and tight contest. This one should be no different as both sides like to play fast and somewhat loose.

In mid-March Moana produced a fine performance to beat the Western Force 22-14 at home. It was however followed by three heavy defeats to the Brumbies, Blues and Chiefs. They conceded 60 in two of those games.

Last weekend, Moana played superbly at home against the Reds, winning the match 17-14. It wasn’t the best quality of rugby, but Moana did what was required to get over the line.

Like their opponents, this is a crucial game. No chances will be taken with selections.
