Fijian Drua vs Rebels Predictions
Fijian Drua are a very tough side to beat in Fiji. In fact, they have won eight of their last nine games there, so I don’t see a Rebels side, who have lost five on the bounce, getting a result. My best bet is for the hosts to cover the -14 handicap.

Head to Head
The Rebels beat Fijian Drua 41-20 at home earlier this season.
Fijian Drua Form
Fijian Drua are eighth on the table going into the final round robin match of the season. They are five points off the Rebels, but crucially only two points ahead of the Crusaders and Western Force.
A home defeat this weekend could see the Drua miss out on a quarterfinal berth, however, their home form has bene good this season.
Last week the Drua lost 39-3 at the Highlanders but did beat the Reds at home the week prior.
Fijian Drua Injuries & Team News
The Drua will not be risking anything on Saturday. They have selected their strongest available outfit.
Rebels Form
The Rebels are guaranteed a place in the quarterfinals as they are currently seventh on the table, seven points clear of ninth place. However, victory against Drua could propel them into sixth place should the Highlanders lose.
With a quarterfinal berth confirmed, the Rebels will be keen on finishing this season well. Earlier this week it was also confirmed that the Rebels franchise will no longer be in operation, so this is their final season as a franchise.
Last week, the Rebels were humbled 53-17 at home by the Brumbies. The week before they lost by three points at home to the Chiefs. In fact, their last win came against the Highlanders in mid-April.
Rebels Injuries & Team News
The Rebels will be keen to get a result despite having already confirmed a playoff spot. They have gone with a full-strength side.
Verdict
I am backing Fijian Drua to cover the -14 handicap.
