Western Force vs Brumbies Predictions

The Western Force are very competitive at HBF Park while the Brumbies have won their last two on the road. I’m backing the Brumbies to cover the  -4.5 handicap but this should be a good contest over 80 minutes.

Head to Head

Earlier this season, the Force upset the odds to beat the Brumbies in Canberra.

Western Force Form

The Western Force have had a good season but with five wins and five defeats, they are in the final playoff spot with 22 points. Their home form has been very solid, but they will need some more results to confirm their top eight place.

The last time the Force won was 29-20 against the Highlanders at home at the start of April. They did follow it with a credible 17-all draw against the Hurricanes a week later at home.

However, they were then hammered 56-22 away to the Chiefs and last week they suffered a 40-19 loss in Auckland against the Blues.

Brumbies Form

The Brumbies are third on the table currently and will be looking to climb to second with a win. The two teams above them play each other so, if the Brumbies win this, they should move above the side that loses.

Four of the last five games have ended in wins for the Canberra side. They beat the Reds and Moana away before losing at home by six points to the Hurricanes.

Last week, the Brumbies bagged the points at home though, beating the Waratahs 40-17.
