GG Gaming Odds & Markets
GG Gaming does not have a huge selection of sports, but all the main categories are here:
GG Gaming Football Betting Tips
After horse racing, football is the biggest draw at GG Gaming. There is much more choice here with 26 nations to choose from, many of which have multiple leagues and tournaments. Clicking on your chosen league will display the upcoming matches, all of which have decent market depth. All the usual bets are here including the handicap wagers, over/under goals, HT/FT and BTTS bets. There are also plenty of individual player options, such as first/last goalscorer and anytime goalscorer.
GG Gaming Horse Racing Betting Tips & more
Horse racing is the most popular betting option at GG Gaming, so you will find it at the top of the sporting categories menu in the sidebar. You can choose from many worldwide events, including races from Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Singapore, UK, and of course South Africa.
You can also choose to display all the races that are running today or tomorrow so finding the event you want is quick and easy. Unfortunately, GG Gaming doesn’t offer Tote betting, so the punting options are limited to win, place, SP and open win/place.
Moving down the sidebar, rugby union, cricket, and rugby league complete the top five most popular sports.
Rugby union has several subcategories such as the World Cup and Super Rugby, but these don’t have anywhere near the market depth of the football options. Super Rugby matches, for example, only offer around 10 wagers covering options like match winner, first team to score, and first team to score a try.
Cricket has options such as the LG ODI Championship, Women’s Internationals, the World Cup, and the VIVO Indian Premier League. These appear to have good market depth, but on closer inspection, most of the wagers are individual player bets such as top home team batsman, top away team bowler, and top match batsman. The other wagers are made up of the match winner, highest opening partnership, and most match sixes.
The Rugby League tab covers the Australian Telstra Premiership. It has a similar market depth to the Rugby Union matches with some added handicap wagers.
To see how GG Gaming was performing against the well-known online sportsbooks, we ran a few comparisons. As you can see in the table below, the odds are pretty much spot on, however, this is only a random selection of markets. Nevertheless, it does bode well for GG Gaming’s overall pricing and punter value.
|Horse racing: Hereford 2pm, Bazarov to win
|Football: English Premier League, Brighton vs Southampton, Southampton to win
|Rugby Union: Hurricanes vs Crusaders, Hurricanes to win
|Cricket: Pakistan vs Australia, Pakistan to win
|Rugby league: Canberras Raiders vs Newcastle Knights, Canberra to win

GG Gaming Live Betting
GG Gaming does offer in-play betting on a selection of sports. The market depth is good for the most popular sports such as football, but the number of options does fall away rapidly for the less popular categories.
There is no live streaming of matches, but each game has a graphical match tracker to keep you informed of the action. There are also real-time statistics updates to help you plan your next wagers.
GG Gaming Website and Login
The GG Gaming website is well laid out, with the classic three-column set-up being used to good effect. The sidebar has all the betting options, including shortcuts to the most popular events, and a handy ‘Additional Information’ section. The betting options are then displayed in the centre column, with the right-hand column containing your bet slip and some thumbnail links. The three columns are well placed and combined with the large-sized text it helps keep the pages from feeling cluttered.
The registration process is very simple at GG Gaming and only involves a single page of data input. To verify your account, you must complete the FICA process by sending in your identity document, proof of residence, and proof of banking. GG Gaming may also request three month’s worth of bank statements.
There are plenty of noteworthy features at GG Gaming, and here are just a few of the ones that caught our eye.
R10,000 Refer A Friend Scheme
GG Gaming is running this incredible promotion which is even bigger than the welcome offer. When you refer a friend and they sign up, you’ll receive 25% of their first stake in free betting credit. Ts + Cs apply, but this is worth up to R10,000 (the welcome offer is only worth R3,000) so it’s definitely something you should out.
GG Gaming loves the VIVO Indian Premier League, and there are regular offers and promotions related to it. These include winnings boosts and cashback offers worth up to R2,000.
GG Gaming gives every customer a free bet to the tune of R200 on their birthday.
GG Gaming Mobile App
There is no GG Gaming app currently available, but the website is fully optimised for mobile use. It is nicely laid out and includes on-screen prompts to show you where the different menu options are, which is incredibly helpful. Like the desktop version, it has a good size of text and doesn’t try to cram too much information onto the screen at once.
Whether you’re using an iOS or an Android device, you’ll have no problem finding the wagers you’re looking for at GG Gaming. The tablet layout is obviously slightly more user-friendly due to the larger screen, but the website loses nothing on the smaller smartphone screens.
GG Gaming Withdrawals and Deposits
The choice of payment methods at GG Gaming is small, but with most punters having some form of credit or debit card this should not be a huge problem. The addition of an e-wallet option would make deposits and withdrawals much faster however, which would no doubt attract more customers to the website. The current banking options are:
- Visa Electron
GG Gaming Customer Service
There is no indication as to the opening hours of the GG Gaming customer support service, and there is a notable lack of any live chat feature. The currently available methods of contact are:
- Phone: +27 (21) 206 6000
- Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Twitter: @GGGamingBet
