Daniel Evans vs Novak Djokovic Predictions
Daniel Evans isn’t the player he was a year or two ago and while Djokovic is probably a lower level as well, he remains a world class player. The value in this match for me is in the total games – I’m backing it to see over 30.5 games with Evans to take a set.

Head to Head
These two have surprisingly only met once before and that came in 2021 at the ATP Masters 1000. Daniel Evans won that match 6-4 7-5.
Daniel Evans Form
Daniel Evans form in 2025 has been poor and he failed to even get past the qualifiers at the French Open in May. His best result since then was a quarterfinal exit at the Eastbourne Open just before Wimbledon.
That said, Evans plays his best tennis on the grass, particularly at Wimbledon where he will have good support from the home crowd. A return to centre court against a player like Djokovic will be another huge motivating factor.
In the first round, Evans had little problems getting past countryman, Jay Clarke. Evans won in straight sets 6-1 7-5 6-2.
Novak Djokovic Form
Novak Djokovic has not had the best year in 2025 but still remains one of the top players on the ATP circuit. It is worth remembering that he has reached the last four Wimbledon finals.
Despite some average form, the Serb reached the semi-final stage at the Australian Open and the French Open. The latter he lost in straight sets to Jannik Sinner.
In his opening Wimbledon round, Djokovic was taken to four sets by Alexandre Muller, eventually winning 6-1 6-7 6-2 6-2. It was straightforward besides that second set. Djokovic won 82% of his first serve points.
Verdict
Novak Djokovic is backed to win in four sets with the match seeing over 30.5 games.
