In the first round, Sinner won 6-4 6-3 6-0 against Luca Nardi. That was followed by an even more convincing win in the second round against Aleksander Vukic.

Pedro Martinez Form

Pedro Martinez has struggled to go deep into tournaments in 2025. At the French Open a couple of months back, he was knocked ou in the first round in straight sets by Dennis Shapovalov.

At the Terra Wortmann Open he suffered another straight sets loss. Perhaps better known for his doubles play, Martinez has, however, done well to reach the third round at Wimbledon.

He won his opening round match in four sets against George Loffhagen. It was followed by another win in three sets, this time against Mariano Navone. It was a tough game with Martinez winning 7-5 7-5 7-6.
