Lucky Fish is splitting a guaranteed R4.5 million in withdrawable cash across Wednesday and Friday races from 2 October to 27 November 2026, and a R1 cash bet on a listed Habanero game between 18:30 and 20:30 is enough to qualify.

Cash on the balance, not a bonus chip

Between 2 October and 27 November 2026, Lucky Fish is handing out a guaranteed R4 500 000, and the stake that counts is a rand or more in cash on a listed Habanero game while the clock sits between 18:30 and 20:30 on a Wednesday or a Friday.

The promo tile still shows a campaign stretch back to 1 August. The prize table does not. If the date is not on that table, there is no place to collect. Friday 2 October is already off the board. The next line is Wednesday 7 October.

A night is three blocks, and only the middle one counts

Up to 18:30, the jackpot display is a countdown. The figure is visible. It cannot pay.

At 18:30, the race phase starts. It ends at 20:30. Lucky Fish guarantees a trigger somewhere in those two hours. No published minute, no last-ten-seconds rule, no extra weight for a bigger stake.

The payout phase starts the second it triggers. Places are assigned to the bets closest to that moment. Grind an hour and miss the second, and the hour does not help. Land an R1 stake next to the drop, and that stake is what the sheet reads. One place per account per night, so the nearest bet does not also fill a lower row.

The credit is cash on the Lucky Fish balance and can be withdrawn. It still has to sit inside the maximum payout. Fun Play cannot win it. Bonus play cannot win it. And the account needs funds available right through the window, because the drop does not wait for a top-up.

Only the published Habanero titles qualify. A stake on anything else, even at 19:00 on a Friday, is outside the race. The list runs long: 5 Lucky Lions, Fa Cai Shen and the Deluxe cut, Wealth Inn, Laughing Buddha, Lucky Lucky, Egyptian Dreams Deluxe, Taberna De Los Muertos Ultra, Zeus, Zeus 2, Zeus Deluxe, plus Privé versions where they are named.

Two names pull double duty. Hot Hot Fruit and Wild Trucks are on the race list and in the new-account spin set. Candy Tower is in the spin set and absent from the race list. Learning a game on spins is fine. Those spins are not read when the jackpot drops.
