Head to Head

Uganda have the advantage over DR Congo, with five victories to two, including one draw in eight meetings.

Uganda Form

Uganda pulled off a shock victory in their friendly international against DR Congo last weekend, winning by two goals to nil.

Before that result, the Cranes contested two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tunisia and Libya, drawing 1-1 and winning 1-0, respectively.

The team from East Africa have won two of their last five fixtures, with one defeat and two draws. They scored six goals and conceded five.

Uganda will be pleased with their efforts in their recent performance against the DR Congo, but they are prone to inconsistent performances, having secured two victories in their last seven matches.

DR Congo Form

DR Congo succumbed to a defeat at the hands of Uganda in a friendly international last weekend, losing 2-0.

In September, La Céleste achieved back-to-back success in their AFCON qualifiers, beating Equatorial Guinea 2-0 and Zimbabwe 2-1.

Guerriers de l'Équateur have secured three victories in their last five fixtures, with two defeats. They scored eight goals and conceded six.

DR Congo had no answer in their recent clash against Uganda, but will have the belief they can turn their fortunes around against their opponents in the second match, as they had success before that disappointing result.
