Lightscameraaction is my pick to take Race 1.
Gimmethatworldcup has great form and is favoured in Race 4.
Anotherdanceforme is the Best Bet of the Day in Race 5.
There are eight races at Fairview on Friday starting at 12:15 SAST.

There are eight races at Fairview for Friday (Getty Images).

Race 1 – Lightscameraaction (6)

Jockey: Richard Fourie | Trainer: Alan Greeff

Lightscameraaction looked a desperately unlucky loser on debut after being denied a clear run in the closing stages. With normal improvement expected, she looks the filly to beat.

She should confirm her promise ahead of Destrega and Kitana's Joy, while Bold Skitt also has place claims. Lightscameraaction is the standout opening selection.

Race 4 – Gimmethatworldcup (2)

Jockey: R Fourie | Trainer: Alan Greeff

Gimmethatworldcup arrives chasing a hat-trick after two impressive victories, including a dominant course-and-distance success last month.

He looks capable of completing the three-timer despite stronger opposition. Obsidian Star and Just Carter appear the biggest dangers.

Race 5 – Anotherdanceforme (2)

Jockey: Richard Fourie | Trainer: Alan Greeff

Anotherdanceforme has won all three of her Polytrack starts and returns to her favourite surface after a respectable effort at Greyville. She has also won four of her last five starts, so she has the winning touch.

Back on the Polytrack she looks exceptionally hard to beat. Zatara Magic and Enchanting Choice look the principal challengers.

Race 8 – Endeared (1)

Jockey: Wilmien Fourie | Trainer: Jacques van Strydom

Endeared has won two of her last three starts and drops back to 1000m after showing excellent recent form over slightly further.

The inside draw is another positive and she rates the value play in the finale ahead of Iced Marmalade and Spirit Of Nical.

Racing odds to follow when released.
