  • Toulouse have won 2 of their last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
  • Toulouse have won 10 consecutive home matches in all competitions.
  • Toulouse have defeated the Sale Sharks 4 times in a row at home.
  • Sale Sharks have lost 7 of their last 8 away fixtures in all competitions.
  • Sale Sharks have lost 4 successive times to Toulouse.

Head to Head

Toulouse have a commanding lead of six victories to none against the Sale Sharks, including one draw each in seven meetings.

Toulouse Form

Toulouse had no answer against Saracens last weekend, losing 20-14 away from home after trailing 17-7 at the break.

Before that, Toulouse thumped the Sharks 56-19 in the Investec Champions Cup opener before losing 28-21 to the Glasgow Warriors away from home.

Toulouse have been outstanding at home in the Top 14 this season. They defeated Perpignan 31-13, Castres 59-12, Bordeaux 56-13, Toulon 59-24, Stade Francais 29-17, Racing 92 48-24, the Sharks 59-19, and La Rochelle 60-14.

Toulouse are 4th in Pool 1 with seven points from three matches.

Toulouse will be out for redemption against the Sale Sharks after dropping points in their previous outing, having won ten in a row at home, including four consecutive victories against their opponents.

Sale Sharks Form

Sale Sharks produced a solid second half against the Sharks in their European Rugby Champions Cup match last weekend, winning 26-10 at home.

Earlier in the competition, Sale Sharks lost 26-21 to the Glasgow Warriors at home before beating Clermont 35-14 on the road.

Sale Sharks have struggled for success away from home in the Premiership and Premiership Rugby Cup this season, losing 28–16 to Bath, 65–14 to Saracens, 36–35 to Leicester Tigers, 20–0 to Bath, 47–21 to Northampton Saints, and 19–17 to Bristol.

Sale Sharks are 2nd in Pool 1 with 11 points from three games.

Sale Sharks have been struggling to win on the road, losing seven of their last eight, and they have a poor record at Toulouse, losing four in a row.

Team News

Antoine Dupont reflected on what must be done in the final pool match after their defeat to Saracens: "We know we don't have the choice if we want to qualify. We have to claim the five points. We will concentrate, try and win that game and see where it takes us."

Fly-half Romain Ntamack is still nursing a back injury and will likely not play against the Sale Sharks this weekend.

Sale Sharks

Sale Sharks have secured the signing of Welsh international prop Tomas Francis on a two-year contract starting next season.

Full-back Luke James has committed his future to Sale by signing a new contract that runs until 2029.
