Bayer Leverkusen vs Arsenal

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 11 games, winning 9 of them and netting 27 times. Bayer Leverkusen have won just 1 of their last 5 matches, scoring just once per match. Leverkusen have scored 1 goal or less in 5 of their last 10 home matches.

Leverkusen haven’t lost at home in 6 matches, with 2 draws. Their defence is strong, securing 6 clean sheets in their last 8 games. Arsenal haven’t lost away in 13 matches, scoring 31 times, so I can’t see Leverkusen shutting them out. This sounds like a low-score draw loading.

Chelsea have won 7 of their last 9 away matches, losing twice to log-leaders Arsenal and scoring 27 times while conceding 11. In their last 15 matches they have lost only to Arsenal, so they are looking well organised and powerful. They should have the beating of PSG in the first leg.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City

Real Madrid are 4 points behind Barca in La Liga after losing back-to-back matches against Getafe and Osasuna. Madrid have lost 3 of their last 10 matches and 5 of their last 14. City are undefeated in 11 matches, winning 9 and are sitting in 2nd spot in the Premier League.

City claimed a 2-1 away win over Madrid in their Champions League group stage match in December. Madrid won their next 7 home matches before their latest loss to Getafe. City have won 8 of their last 12 on the road. Haaland has 3 goals in 6 matches against Madrid, so I’m backing him to have 3 shots on target as City press hard for a first-leg advantage.
