Arsenal vs Coventry
A brutal Premier League return for Coventry playing away to defending champs Arsenal who just crushed City 3-0 in the Community Shield. Coventry have had a good pre-season but the odds are stacked high in Arsenal’s favour at 1.17.
Hull City vs Man United
Promoted Hull aren’t easy at home, but United are strong and are pitched in the early odds at 1.39 for an away win.
Everton vs Crystal Palace
Two teams with up and down seasons but with plenty of strength. Good value for the draw at 3.40.
Ipswich Town vs Sunderland
The Tractor Boys will fancy themselves after four pre-season wins, but Sunderland are favourably back at 2.50 for the away win.
Nottingham Forest vs Leeds
Forest have been strong in pre-season despite three losses while Leeds have four wins in five. Tough to call so perhaps the odds of 3.40 for a draw will be most tempting.
Brentford vs Tottenham
Brentford won their last pre-season match 7-0 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt, so with home ground advantage they are worth backing at odds of 3.40 for the win.
Brighton vs Aston Villa
Brighton are backed in the early at 2.20 for a home win, partly on the back of winning their last three pre-season matches while Villa have lost their last three.
Man City vs Bournemouth
Forget the Community Shield blow-out… City at home should bombard Bournemouth and are huge favourites at 1.44 for the win.
Newcastle vs Liverpool
Newcastle have failed to live up to expectations in the last two years. Liverpool’s poor title defence will mean nothing as they are well favoured for the away win at 1.93
Fulham vs Chelsea
No odds available yet for the London derby. Chelsea finished 10th last season, one spot above Fulham. The Cottagers have had a better pre-season so a draw could be on the cards in a fixture which each side has two wins from in their last four meetings.
