Team News

Kubota Spears

Akira Ieremia has been suspended for three weeks for head contact from a shoulder charge in the match against Kobe Steel.

Captain Maxi Faurua commented on his team's victory after the match: "The first half was a very close match, so we made some improvements at halftime, and in the second half we focused on each play, didn't give up until the end, and gave it our all, which I think ultimately led to the victory. We have tough matches ahead of us from here on out. First of all, we need to recover and then prepare well for the next match."

Black Rams

Captain TJ Perenara reflected on his team's performance against Tokyo Sungoliath: "Tokyo SG was a really good team, and we were able to put pressure on them in some areas, and they made good use of their chances. However, I think we also had a lot of good points. Still, we weren't able to sustain that good play for long periods of time, which I think is what led to this result. In order to be able to win these types of matches, I would like to continue to firmly master that method in the future. I believe there is still a lot we can do."
