The 2026 Six Nations kicks off on Thursday, 5 February when France host Ireland in one of the more anticipated games of this year's competition.

Six Nations Round 1 Fixtures & Odds

The other two fixtures for the weekend take place on Saturday, 7 February when Italy host Scotland and Wales travel to Twickenham to face England.

Below we take a look at some of the more attractive markets for each game and where we may find good value.

Six Nations Round 1 Fixtures & Odds

France vs Ireland

Date: 5 February 2026

Kick-off: 22:10 SAST

France are comfortable favourites, priced at 1.12 to win the match outright while Ireland are paying 6.00 to cause an upset. With little value there, the handicap is enticing with France at -14.5 @ 2.10. Ireland's +14.5 is priced at 1.72.

In the try scorer market there is plenty of value to be found, particularly among the French players. Prolific winger, Louis Beille-Biarrey is paying 1.66 to score anytime and 7.00 as the first or last scorer.

Antoine du Pont is valued at 2.30 to score anytime and at 11.00 as first or last try scorer. For Ireland, Dan Sheehan is at 2.70 for anytime and 13.00 as first or last - should Ireland get an early lineout within the French 22 and get their maul going, Sheehan could easily get over the tryline first.

In the half time/full time market, France can be backed to be winning both at 1.40 with Ireland paying 7.00 to be leading at the break and at full time.

The winning margin market may offer some value with France priced at 2.62 to win by between 1-12 points and 1.80 by 13+.

Italy vs Scotland

Date: 7 February 2026

Time: 16:10 SAST

This could be a very tight contest with both sides achieving some good results over the last 12 months. Scotland are favourites to win at 1.28 with Italy offering plenty of value at 3.75. The handicap is set at 9.5 with both sides priced at 1.90.

An Italy win by 1-12 points will pay 4.00 while Scotland at the same margin is priced at 2.87. A 13+ victory for the hosts in Rome will pay 26.00 and 2.10 for Scotland.

The try scorer markets will open once the teams are announced.

England vs Wales

Time: 18:40 SAST

England are arguably the form side in world rugby at the moment with 11 successive wins, perhaps alongside South Africa. This all while Wales have dropped down the World Rankings at an alarming rate over the last three years.

The 29.5 handicap looks fair given how poor Wales have been. England are paying even money to cover that while Wales are available at 1.80 to get within that margin.

The outright win market has no value with England paying 1.006 and Wales 19.00 to cause a very, very unlikely upset.
