Gloucester and Bath meet in the West Country derby with Gloucester tipped to cover the +3.5 handicap. Gloucester have strong home form, winning five of their last six home games and sitting first in the Premiership Rugby standings. Bath, by contrast, have struggled away from home, losing six of their last seven away fixtures and suffering back-to-back defeats. While Bath hold a historical edge in head-to-heads, current form favours Gloucester.

Gloucester vs Bath Predictions

Gloucester have performed well in the PREM this season and have solid form at home. Bath have lost back-to-back matches and have struggled to win on the road recently.

  • Gloucester have won 3 of their last 5 matches.
  • Gloucester have won 5 of their last 6 home games.
  • Bath have lost 3 of their last 5 fixtures.
  • Bath have lost 6 of their last 7 away games.

Head to Head

Bath have the advantage with 24 victories to 11 against Gloucester, including two draws in 44 meetings.

Gloucester Form

Gloucester faced defending champions Bordeaux in their opening Investec Champions Cup fixture of the season, playing to a 36-36 draw at home with the Top 14 outfit.

In the PREM this season, Gloucester defeated Exeter 45-24 away and Harlequins 48-0 at home before coming up short against Leicester Tigers, losing 38-31 away.

The Cherry and Whites are first in the Premiership Rugby standings with 12 points from three matches.

Gloucester have found some form during the opening stages of the new campaign and are undefeated in their last six home games, which include five victories and one draw, favouring the home side to come out on top against a struggling Bath side.

Bath Form

Bath did not have the best start to their European Rugby Champions Cup campaign last weekend, losing 32-14 to Montpellier at home.

The side from Somerset has had mixed results in the PREM this season. They defeated Harlequins 33-17 away and Exeter 40-34 at home before being thrashed 71-48 away by Northampton Saints.

The Blue, Black, and White are fifth in the Premiership Rugby table with 11 points from three games.

Bath have suffered two consecutive defeats across all competitions and have had little to cheer about when playing away from home recently, losing six of their last seven outings.
