English Premier League Round 8 Odds

Ipswich Town vs Nottingham Forest

Ipswich have alternated defeats and victories across their last five league matches, most recently losing 3-2 to Manchester City. Forest have lost three consecutive league games and slipped into the relegation places. Ipswich are slated at 2.65 for the win while a draw is at 3.10. A Forest win pays out at 2.30.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City

Villa edged Newcastle 1-0 in their latest league outing but they face a tough task in hosting unbeaten leaders Manchester City, who top the table with seven wins from seven. City are short-priced favourites at 1.68 while a home victory has fairly high odds of 3.90. Considering Villa’s form and home advantage a draw at 3.70 looks tempting.

Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal have won six of their seven league matches after beating Nottingham Forest 1-0 on the weekend, while Everton slipped to a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. The Gunners are huge favourites at 1.39. Everton offer the biggest away-win price of Saturday at 6.00 while a draw pays out at 4.33.

Coventry City vs Fulham

Coventry lost their last League match 3-1 at Tottenham while Fulham secured their first league win of the season by downing Hull 1-0. The visitors are slight favourites at 2.15 with a Coventry win paying out at 2.85. A draw carries the tempting payout of 3.30.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur

Chelsea have won their last two league games, with their most recent win being a 2-0 win over Everton. Tottenham come into this match after a long-awaited first league win of the season by beating Coventry 3-1 but Chelsea are still the heavy favourite with a payout of 1.63. An unlikely Spurs win would give you a payout boost at 4.10 while a draw is pegged at 3.75.

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United

Palace will be looking for a big response against Newcastle as they look to bounce back from their 5-0 defeat loss to Brighton on the weekend. Newcastle lost their last match 1-0 at home to Villa and have now suffered successive league defeats. Palace are chalked in for a win at 2.80, a draw is set at 3.70 in the early odds while a Newcastle win looks the strongest bet as they have been slotted in at win odds of 2.35.

Hull City vs Brentford

Hull were edged 1-0 at Fulham last weekend but face a Brentford side beaten 2-1 by Liverpool on the weekend. Brentford are clear favourites with the bookies at 1.77 while Hull are quoted at a tempting payout of 4.33. A draw is also high in the odds at 4.00.

Liverpool vs Brighton

Liverpool returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Brentford, but Brighton arrive flying after thrashing Crystal Palace 5-0. The Seagulls sit third and have won four league games in a row. Liverpool are back for the win at 2.05 while Brighton are slated at 3.30 despite their recent form, so that's a tempting odd to consider. A draw pays out at 3.80.

Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Manchester United have just one win in seven league matches and drew 1-1 with Leeds on the weekend for their third draw in four matches. Bournemouth celebrated their first win of the campaign with a 2-0 victory over Sunderland but United are still listen at low win odds of 1.83, with a Bournemouth win priced at 3.90 while a draw will payout at 4.00.

Sunderland vs Leeds United

Bottom of the table Sunderland have lost four league matches in succession after their 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth. Leeds are enjoying a great start to the season and are in seventh place following their 1-1 draw with Manchester United. Leeds are slightly favoured by the bookies at odds of 2.50 with a Sunderland win slated at 2.87. Back a draw and you stand to take a payout of 3.30.
