England will not be pleased that they failed to make the final four in the race for the title. Wales on the other hand will be reasonably happy with their performance, and they beat England in the Six Nations this year.

I do think England will win but the 20.5 handicap is a bit steep for me. Wales to cover.

During the U20 2025 Six Nations, Wales caused a huge upset against England, winning 23-12.

England U20 will be very disappointed with their performance thus far in the competition. They are the defending champions but will not have the opportunity to defend that title.

The English blew the Six Nations title earlier this year on the final weekend when they lost to Wales. In their opening group stage game here, England got off to a good start, thrashing Scotland 56-19.

However, the England U20 side then lost 32-22 to South Africa, failing to pick up a crucial bonus point in the process. In their final game, England only narrowly beat Australia 36-33, but it wasn’t enough to send them through as the best second-placed side.

Wales U20 Form

Wales U20 have actually had a decent 2025, much better than previous seasons. They managed three wins in the Six Nations against Italy, Ireland and England.

The Welsh will be kicking themselves after losing their opening World Championship game 34-27 to Argentina, a game that was certainly there for the taking. Wales were again competitive against France, losing 35-21.

Their final fixture, against Spain U20, saw Wales take the win 35-25 to build some confidence and secure third place.
