France are quite rightly huge favourites for this game even though the Spanish were far better last season. I am backing France to cover the -37.5 handicap.

France won the U20 Six Nations this season despite being far from their best. They were fortunate but got the results in the end that were required.

Victory in round one against Wales in which the French scored 63 points, was followed by a 27-10 home defeat to England. France were back in top form against Italy, winning 58-5 away from home in round three.

A 22-10 away success against Ireland showed their title credentials, although they still needed England to slip up. They did just that in the final week and France took advantage, beating Scotland 45-40 at home.

Spain U20 Form

Spain have not featured in 2025 at U20 level, or at least not on their official results list.

Last year, at the World Championship, Spain lost out to Italy in the playoff for ninth place. After being Fiji 24-19, they lost 28-15 to Italy, an overall impressive campaign.
