New Zealand take on Australia in the second Bledisloe Cup match of 2020 at Eden Park on Sunday. The Wallabies proved their doubters wrong in the first Test - which ended in a 16-16 draw, but the All Blacks will be out for more in this encounter.

New Zealand Form & News

International rugby returned to New Zealand last weekend as the hosts drew 16-16 with fierce rivals Australia. It was a great match of rugby, but the All Blacks will be the more disappointed side with the result.

The All Blacks really should've won the clash - even though they could well have lost it close to the end. Rieko Ioane's fumble when over the tryline for New Zealand will be haunting his dreams.

With the rustiness out of the system, New Zealand should prove too strong for their opponents this weekend.

New Zealand have made five changes to their team this weekend. Rieko Ioane has dropped to the bench after his blunder with Anton Lienert-Brown taking his place at outside centre.

Beauden Barrett returns after illness at full-back with Damian McKenzie dropping to the bench. Wing Caleb Clarke will make his first All Black start at the expense of the injured George Bridge.

Lock Sam Whitelock is also on the treatment table which means Tupou Vaa’i comes into the line-up. At hooker Dan Coles replaces Codie Taylor.

Australia Form & News

Australia will be proud with how things ended last weekend. Very few fans and pundits alike gave them a chance, but they played well and claimed a draw.

Head coach Dave Rennie will, however, be disappointed that his side didn't win. Reece Hodge's penalty kick that hit the upright after the hooter would have sealed the Wallabies' first win in New Zealand since 2001.

Rennie has only made two changes to the Australian side from the last test. Flank Ned Hanigan makes his return to the side after a two year absence at the expense of Pete Samu, who drops out of the squad completely.

The only other change is at hooker where Folau Fainga’a makes way for Brandon Paenga-Amosa.

New Zealand vs Australia Head to Head

New Zealand hold a 47-17 advantage over Australia in their last 67 meetings, along with three draws.

Their last clash ended 16-16 in Wellington last weekend.

New Zealand vs Australia Odds

New Zealand are priced at 1.13 to win the match, while Australia are available at 6.00. Another draw pays 34.00.

New Zealand vs Australia Match Up

Australia produced a very good all-round display last weekend, while the All Blacks showed signs of vulnerability. This week is likely to be different, as New Zealand will have worked tirelessly on their issues and will be ready to produce performances of old.
