Scotland vs Georgia Preview
This could be closer than many people think, particularly if Scotland are not at full strength. I fancy Georgia to get within the 18-point handicap.

Head to Head
Scotland have won all six previous matches against Georgia. They last met in 2020 when Scotland won 48-7 at Murrayfield.
Scotland Form
Scotland were superb in the Six Nations, finishing third behind Ireland and France. They have also won two of their three warm-up games to date.
The Scots beat Italy 25-13 at home in their first warm-up game before a 25-21 win over France, also at home. The latter result came from a superb second-half comeback.
A week later, again against France but this time away, Scotland came ever so close to upsetting the odds, losing to 30-27 after a last-ditch penalty by the hosts.
Scotland Injuries & Team News
Scotland won’t want to risk injuries but this is their final warm-up game. Unlike many teams, Scotland doesn’t have a tier-two side to start against at the World Cup as they open against South Africa. Nevertheless, I expect a good mix from Scotland between first and second choice.
Georgia Form
Georgia are not a team to be taken lightly, not anymore at least. They have a strong side that will give many top-tier nations a good run for their money.
In their two warm-up games, Georgia have shown their quality, thrashing Romania 56-6 and beating USA 22-7 last weekend. They will not come to Scotland to hold back.
Georgia Injuries & Team News
Georgia should be close to full strength this weekend after resting players last time out.
Verdict
Georgia have been getting some really good results over the last two years. They may not be able to get the win against a strong Scotland side, but I feel they should get within 18 points.
