This weekend, 8 & 9 November 2025, sees the start of the international window. We have some cracking fixtures lined up, most notably France vs South Africa on Saturday evening. However, it is worth keeping a close eye on Scotland vs New Zealand as the Scots aim for their first ever win over the All Blacks. And can Italy upset the odds against Australia?

With quite a few games taking place, here are our best options for the weekend. I am steering clear of England vs Fiji and Ireland vs Japan as those are tough to pick on handicap particularly.

Scotland vs New Zealand

Scotland feel like they have a real chance of their first-ever win over the All Blacks, but how often haven't we seen that before? However, New Zealand have been inconsistent this year, so there may well be some value on Scotland.

The win is risky but Scotland on +8.5 makes sense to me at 1.90.

Italy vs Australia

While the Wallabies are improved, they've not been very good in the last two weeks and have now lost five on the bounce. Italy beat Australia when they last met in 2022. An Azzurri win is risky but +8.5 in Rome is a solid option at 1.91.

France vs South Africa

The game of the weekend, no doubt. South Africa are very slight favourites with a 1.5 handicap. France do have a few big injuries but do have a very strong side and home ground advantage - tough to call, right? Well, I am leaning on the Springboks to win but given that they won their last game against France by a single point, an outright win is less risky that handicap. South Africa are priced at 1.83 to win.

Romania vs Canada

Romania are vastly improved from the 2023 Rugby World Cup and have once again got a strong pack. Given Canada's results in the Pacific Nations Cup, the hosts are my bet to cover -8.5 at 1.83.
