The 2026 Six Nations got underway last week in spectacular fashion with all three home teams - France, Italy and England - all victorious.

Round two comes this weekend with more cracking matches to look forward to. On Saturday, we kick with Ireland, desperate for a result, hosting Italy off the back of a sublime win over Scotland. Speaking of Scotland, they host England at Murrayfield on Saturday evening.

On Sunday round two closes off with Wales hosting a very in-form French side at the Principality Stadium. Wales are in dire straits at the moment and will hope their home crowd can lift them to a miracle victory.

Six Nations Round 2 Preview & Odds

The odds used below are from 10bet.

Ireland vs Italy

Saturday, 14 February
Kick Off: 16:10 (SAST)

Ireland were a shadow of their former selves last Thursday in Paris against France. The hosts pretty much won the game in the first half and although the Irish showed some fight in the second, they were never really in the game.

This weekend, Ireland will be eager to get it right at home against Italy. However, Italy are no longer the easy-beats they once were and come off a home win over Scotland last Saturday. Ireland are favourites with the handicap set at 18.5. This pays 1.90 both ways while and Italy win is valued at 8.00.

Scotland vs England

Saturday, 14 February
Kick Off: 18:40 (SAST)

This is no doubt the game of the weekend with everything to play for. Old rivals aside, Scotland has had the better of England in recent years and last year, England only just managed a one-point win at home. Scotland come into the game off the back of a defeat to Italy in Rome while England, on an 11-match unbeaten run, comfortably put Wales aside at Twickenham.

Given the magnitude of this fixture for the fans, form can be put aside, much like a derby. Scotland are always tough at Murrayfield but England will be in a very confident mood given their form. The handicap is set at 8.5 points in the visitors favour while a Scotland win is valued at 3.75.

Wales vs France

Sunday, 15 February
Kick Off: 17:10 (SAST)

Wales are not the team they once were and are probably much closer to tier two at the moment that tier one. It is a sad state of affairs and there really isn't much promise of change coming. Last week, Wales were hammered by England while France were ruthless at home against Ireland.

The handicap for this match is at 31.5. In other words, the bookies are expecting a big French win and it is hard to argue against that.
