After a rusty start to Super Rugby Unlocked, the Bulls managed to scrape home with a 30-23 victory over Griquas at Loftus Versfeld on the opening weekend.

Their rustiness was evident again in a 19-17 away loss at the Cheetahs, but they really hit their straps last weekend - with their attack looking in scintilating form.

Against the Sharks, the Bulls were clinical as they won 41-14. New Director of Rugby Jake White will be delighted with the performance and will expect the same when the Stormers come to town.

The Bulls have made only one change to their line-up from last week. Prop Trevor Nyakane comes in for Marcel van der Merwe.

After a bye on the opening weekend, the Stormers saw off the Lions 23-17 in week two. The Lions were the more determined side, but the Stormers managed to put together some good plays to claim the win.

The Stormers then travelled to the Pumas. While they managed to win 42-37 in the end, the Pumas were the better side for much of the match, with the Stormers only coming to life towards the end.

Stormers prop, Steven Kitshoff returns to the side after missing last week due to COVID-19 protocols. Regular captain Siya Kolisi is out injured and will be replaced at flank by Jaco Coetzee.
