While the Chiefs have been in superb form of late, all of their victories have come by less than eight points.

Damian McKenzie will once again start at flyhalf with Chase Tiatia continuing at fullback.

There are no injury concerns for the Chiefs but veteran Liam Messam does make his first start at flank since his return to the club.

Brumbies Form

The Brumbies have enjoyed another good season despite losing out in the Super Rugby AU final against the Reds. In their nine matches this season, the Brumbies have won five with all four defeats coming by a margin of three or less or points.

Last week the Canberra-based outfit came so close to causing an upset. They trailed the Crusaders form most of the match but made a late comeback. They could have snatched a draw had the last minute conversion not gone wide.

The 31-29 defeat to the Super Rugby Aotearoa champions will still give the Aussie franchise plenty of confidence going into this weekend.
