The Crusaders torrid season has continued with very little let up over the first 10 matches. They have won just two games and are on 13 points, four points off the playoffs.
Victory against the Highlanders will keep the Saders’ in touch with the top eight, a very worrying prospect considering their knockout history.
The Christchurch-based outfit smashed the Rebels 39-0 at home just a couple of weeks ago, but then inexplicably dropped off and lost 33-28 at home to the Reds last weekend. It has been a truly strange season for the defending champs.
