Western Force vs Crusaders Predictions - Crusaders backed for comfortable win in Perth

Crusaders have won eight of their last nine matches against the Western Force. The Force last won this fixture in 2013.

The Western Force are bottom of the table with one win in seven matches. They only have five points but their opponents are just above them with seven points.

There have been some decent performances from the Force this season, especially in their 22-19 away loss to the Brumbies. In round five it all came together as they beat the high-flying Reds 40-31 at home.

It has gone backwards ever since though with the Western Force losing 31-13 at Fijian Drua and 50-3 in Auckland to the Blues last weekend.

The Force could move off the bottom with a win but that remains a tough challenge. They have selected a strong side to achieve that though.

The Crusaders are not enjoying this season in 11th place. They have lost six of seven games, something that has never happened to them in Super Rugby before.

Over their last four games, the Crusaders lost 14-10 at home to the Hurricanes before being thrashed 26-6 in Auckland against the Blues. Their only win came the following week, winning 37-26 at home to the Chiefs.

Last weekend, in a very exciting encounter, the Crusaders lost 43-40 to the Waratahs in Sydney. The Crusaders are still a champion side and if they manage to string a few results together, the playoffs are not out of the question.

The Crusaders are at full strength this weekend. A win could give them the momentum to get a few positive results and challenge for a top eight spot.
