Captain Ryuji Fujimura pinpointed the reason for their victory against the Shizuoka Blue Revs: "It was discipline. In particular, we were able to defend with good discipline, and even when the opposition came to our goal, they were able to defend in a way that prevented them from easily scoring tries. So when we had the momentum going, we were able to attack well and score tries, which I think was the biggest factor."

Vice Captain Masato Furukawa stated his team lacked fight in their loss to Toshiba Brave Lupus: "We couldn't hold on during the arm-wrestling-like test of endurance, and it ended up strangling us, and then the momentum was quickly taken over by our opponents. If we had been able to show our competitive spirit and hold on, things might have turned out differently, but we reflected on the same thing after last week's game, and our inability to hold on during a crucial period is an area where we need to grow as a team. We want to make corrections during the bye week, and recover our stamina before our next game. We want to break this bad streak in 2025, and show a new Eagles in the new year."
