Senegal vs Algeria Betting Options and Advice: Lions of Teranga to roar loudest

Senegal and Algeria face off in an Africa Cup of Nations clash which could decide the destiny of the title and will almost certainly do so for their group. It is a close one to call but I believe there is value in backing Senegal to edge it at 2.15.

Sadio Mane returns from his suspension to add the missing puzzle piece for Senegal. He was so desperately needed in the Lions of Teranga's last matches as they spurned glorious chances. Algeria started their campaign on the front foot too with a convincing 2-0 win over out-of-form Kenya but it remains to be seen whether or not they can carry that into their match against Africa's highest-ranked side. Sadio Mane for Senegal and Riyad Mahrez for Algeria are the obvious picks, but a special mention goes to the rock solid Kalidou Koulibaly for Senegal and to Keita Balde after an impressive performance against Tanzania.

Senegal have won seven matches on the trot whilst Algeria are prone to occasional slip-ups, particularly in games which they should not lose. Consistency is the difference between these teams and Senegal will likely punish Algeria with a 2-1 win.
