Cardiff vs Racing 92 Predictions

Cardiff have had a decent beginning to their European Challenge Cup campaign and have been in great touch at home this season. Racing 92 have not fared well in the competition so far and are in poor form away from home.

  • Cardiff have won 2 of their last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
  • Cardiff have won 7 of their last 8 home games in all competitions.
  • Racing 92 have drawn 2 of their last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
  • Racing 92 have lost 5 of their last 6 away games in all competitions.

Head to Head

Cardiff have a slight edge with two victories to one against Racing 92 in three meetings.

Cardiff Form

Cardiff lost their opening European Challenge Cup fixture 38-17 to Stade Francais away from home before bouncing back with a 29-26 victory over Ulster at home.

Cardiff have performed well at home in the URC this season. They defeated the Lions 33-20, Connacht 14-8, Edinburgh 20-19, and lost 21-17 to the Scarlets before beating the Dragons 22-19.

Cardiff have had success at home lately, and they have an opportunity to pick up some valuable points when they host a Racing 92 side that has often lost away from home this season.

Racing 92 Form

Racing 92 were thrashed 61-7 by Ulster away from home in their opening EPCR Challenge Cup match before securing a 31-31 draw with Exeter at home.

Racing 92 have been poor away from home in their last six outings in the Top 14. They lost 20-16 to Castres, 45-21 to Toulon, 33-6 to La Rochelle, 48-24 to Toulouse, and drew 20-20 with Stade Francais before losing 62-20 to Bordeaux.

Racing 92 have struggled to secure victories on their travels this season, losing six of their eight matches, which is not ideal form to have, as Cardiff have been playing well at home.
