Those victories came by 13 points against Lions, six points against Connacht and one point against Edinburgh.

Cardiff welcome back centre Thomas, fly-half Callum Sheedy and tight-head Assiratti after being with the Welsh National team. They are also boosted by the return of wing Josh Adams, who has served his three-match suspension.

Ulster Form

Ulster have made an impressive start to the URC season, winning four of their first five matches.

In their opening Champions Cup game last weekend, Ulster won 61-7 at home to Racing 92. Although Racng 92 did put up a fight, the hosts ran away with it in the end.

Rob Herring sustained a knee injury in the victory over Racing 92 last week. He will have an MRI scan to assess the extent of the injury.
