Last week the Cheetahs game against the Bulls was called off due to the number of positive COVID cases. This week’s match is set to go ahead as planned but there will be more testing closer to kick off.

Pumas Form

The Pumas are enjoying a fantastic start to the Currie Cup after winning two of their three matches. They are currently second but have a game in hand on Western Province.

A superb performance saw the Pumas beat the Lions 39-10 in their first match before going down 32-27 to the defending champions, Bulls at Loftus.

That did little to stop the Pumas momentum. Last week they won 26-22 at home against Griquas. It was a titanic battle but the Pumas outscored Griquas three tries to one.
