Edinburgh Form

Edinburgh have contested three home matches in the URC this season. They beat Benetton 43-0 and the Ospreys 19-17 before losing to rivals the Glasgow Warriors 21-3.
Edinburgh have not had much success against Gloucester recently, but will aim to exploit the poor away form of their opponents to register a home victory for their loyal fans.
Gloucester Form
Gloucester started their European Rugby Champions Cup campaign with a 34-14 home victory over Castres before falling to a 31-3 away defeat to Munster.
Gloucester's six away fixtures in the Premiership and Premiership Rugby Cup have not yielded much success this season. They lost 27-10 to the Sale Sharks, 38-17 to Bath, 39-12 to Exeter, and edged the Sale Sharks 29-28 before losing 45-14 to the Leicester Tigers and Newcastle 25-19.
Gloucester have struggled to win on the road during this campaign, often losing, although they have had success against Edinburgh in their backyard in recent clashes.
Team News
Edinburgh
Head coach Sean Everitt has stated that his team needs to refine their offensive game: “We want to get the ball in the outside backs’ hands. For attack to function, you need numbers on your feet. It is work off the ball, and you’ve got to be able to get off the floor and connect. Whether it means you’ve got to race to the open side, that is up to the individual to do that.”
Duhan van der Merwe, Ben Muncaster, Ewan Ashman, and Liam McConnell are all available for selection.
Gloucester
Head coach George Skivington is under pressure to turn his team's fortunes around: "Pro sport is tough, and when it's good, it's great, but this is definitely the toughest spell I've dealt with.
"There's not a lot of joy in it right now for us and I appreciate the supporters and what they think, but it will get better."
Jack Clement has signed a contract extension at Gloucester.
Verdict
Edinburgh play their best rugby at home and are tipped to cover the -15.5 handicap against a struggling Gloucester outfit.
