  • Ulster have won 3 of their last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
  • Ulster have won 2 of their last 5 away games in all competitions.
  • Ulster have won 6 of their last 7 away matches at Edinburgh.
  • Edinburgh have won 3 of their last 5 home matches in all competitions.

Head to Head

Ulster have a commanding lead of 22 victories to ten over Edinburgh in 32 meetings.

Edinburgh Form

Edinburgh came from seven points down in the first half in their recent match against the Scarlets to win 24-19 at home before a pause in the league fixtures.

Before that result, Edinburgh defeated Benetton 43-0 and the Ospreys 19-17, before losing to the Glasgow Warriors 21-3 and the Bulls 19-17 in their other home matches in the URC this season.

Edinburgh are 12th in the United Rugby Championship table with 23 points from 11 games.

Edinburgh will aim for a repeat home-winning performance against Ulster this weekend; however, their opponents have proven difficult to beat on home soil recently, losing six of their last seven meetings.

Ulster Form

Ulster came away empty-handed in their recent match against the Ospreys before a halt to the fixtures, losing 21-10 away from home after leading 10-7 at half-time.

Before that defeat, Ulster had lacked consistency away from home in the URC this season. They defeated the Sharks 34-26, lost 49-31 to the Lions, 24-20 to Leinster, and beat Connacht 29-24 before losing 27-22 to the Scarlets.

Ulster are 6th in the United Rugby Championship standings with 36 points from 11 matches.

Ulster slipped in the league table after their recent defeat and will look to return to winning ways against Edinburgh, as they have had their number away from home in recent seasons.
