Ospreys beat the lions 38-28 earlier this season in Johannesburg.

The Ospreys are having a decent season in 11th place. They have won six and lost six of their 12 games to date.

Unfortunately, the Welsh side have lost their last two games, but won five in a row before that. That run included wins over Scarlets, Cardiff, Perpignan, the Lions and Ulster.

Over the last two weeks, Ospreys have lost by four points in Edinburgh and lost two Munster 27-17 at home.

This is a crucial game for the Welsh side in the context of their season. They will most likely put out their strongest available side.

The Lions are having their strongest season in quite some time. They are eight, occupying the final playoff spot. They, like their opponents, have won six and lost six.

At the start of March, the Lions smashed the Sharks 40-10 at home and then beat Connacht 38-14 away last weekend. That was a superb performance against a Connacht side notoriously tough to beat at home.

The Lions had a tough game in Ireland last weekend. We could see a few changes to their side.
