Racing 92 vs Cheetahs Predictions

Racing 92 have had a fruitless EPCR Challenge Cup campaign, but have been performing well at home this season. The Cheetahs have been equally poor and are on a losing streak.

  • Racing 92 have drawn 2 of their last 5 fixtures in all competitions.
  • Racing 92 have won 6 of their last 7 home games in all competitions.
  • Cheetahs have lost 6 successive fixtures in all competitions.
  • Cheetahs have lost 4 of their 5 away matches in all competitions.

Head to Head

Racing 92 and the Cheetahs will meet for the first time in a competitive match.

Racing 92 Form

Racing 92 had a slender 13-12 first-half lead against Cardiff last weekend but came away empty-handed, losing 32-13 away from home.

Racing 92 were thrashed 61-7 by Ulster away from home in their opening EPCR Challenge Cup match before securing a 31-31 draw with Exeter at home.

Racing 92 have been in top form at home in the Top 14 this season. They defeated Bordeaux 44-32, Clermont 43-31, Montpellier 32-25, Pau 15-10, Bayonne 47-27, and Montauban 61-16.

Racing 92 are 5th in Pool 3 with three points from three matches.

Racing 92 will aim to finish their campaign on a high for their loyal fans when they host a Cheetahs side that has suffered six consecutive defeats.

Cheetahs Form

The Cheetahs’ match against Ulster last weekend was moved from the NRCA Stadium to Dukes Rugby due to bad weather; however, it was later postponed and ultimately cancelled, with EPCR awarding Ulster a 28–0 victory.

The Cheetahs lost 42‑12 away to Exeter in their opening European Challenge Cup fixture, and then lost 45‑22 at home to Stade Francais in their next outing in the competition.

The Cheetahs lost 27-35 to Boland and defeated the Sharks 7-5 before losing 35-31 to the Bulls and 25-5 to Griquas away from home in last season's Currie Cup.

The Cheetahs are last in the Pool 3 standings with no points from three games.

The Cheetahs have not had any success in the competition so far, and look unlikely to get the result away at Racing 92, as their opponents have won six of their last seven home matches
