It was one of the toughest draws they could have hoped for, to be fair. Despite that, Fiji only lost by nine points to Australia before losing comfortably to England and by 20 points against Ireland.
In the latter stages, Fiji beat Italy 41-26 in a very impressive performance. They lost to Argentina by 21 points in the 9th place final.
