Canada vs USA Predictions

Canada have been struggling to win their matches against the USA lately, and in recent outings. The USA were outplayed in their 2026 Pacific Nations Cup semi-final, but they have been in solid form this season.

  • USA have won 4 of their last 5 games.
  • USA have won 4 of their last 6 matches against Canada.
  • Canada have lost 3 of their last 4 fixtures.

Head to Head

The USA have a commanding lead over Canada, with 11 victories to three in 14 meetings since 2013.

Canada Form

Canada scored two converted tries and a penalty in the first half in their Pacific Nations semi-final match against Fiji last weekend, going into the break trailing 26-17 at half-time.

Les Rouges added two tries and a conversion in the second half, but could not close the points gap on Fiji, losing 45-29.

Before that, the Canucks faced Japan in a friendly international at the beginning of September, losing 57-12.

In July, Canada played three matches in the World Rugby Nations Cup. They drew 42-42 with Spain and lost 38-14 to Portugal before beating Zimbabwe 23-19.

Canada have not had much success lately, losing three of their last four fixtures, and will have to play well to beat the USA in their third-place play-off match, as their opponents have won four of their previous five games.

USA Form

The USA scored two converted tries in the first half in their 2026 Pacific Nations Cup semi-final clash against Japan last weekend, going into half-time trailing 35-14.

The United States had no answer in the second half, conceding 28 unanswered points to lose 63-14 to Japan.

Before that, the USA Men's Eagles contested three matches in this year's World Rugby Nations Cup. They edged Portugal 30-29, defeated Zimbabwe 31-15, and beat Spain 29-22.

The USA have been playing well this year, despite their recent result, and will fancy their chances against Canada, having defeated their opponents in four of their last six matches.
