Angola lost their opener to Morocco while Kenya took all three points in their first game. This is likely to be a low scoring battle, one which I am backing to end in a draw.

Angola arrived at CHAN in very good form after winning the COSAFA Cup back in June. They defeated South Africa 3-0 in the final.

However, given the number of players missing, they are not quite the same side that did the business in South Africa. Angola lost their opener 2-0 against Morocco on Sunday and are not under pressure to get a result.

To qualify for the African Nations Championship, Angola defeated Lesotho over two legs last December. They won 2-0 away before losing 1-0 at home.

Kenya Form

Kenya are fortunate to be at this tournament as they lost their qualification two-leg tie to South Sudan. However, they progressed due to other, non-football-related matters.

Despite that, Kenya made a strong start to CHAN, beating Congo DR 1-0 on Sunday. A point here may be enough to secure passage through to the next round.
