On Friday, Guinea defeated Somalia 3-0 away from home. It was very comfortable for the visitors and although it was weaker opposition, it will give them some confidence.

At home on Thursday last week, Algeria were too good for Botswana, winning the match 3-1. Botswana held them at 1-1 for large parts of the second half but a double by Baghdad Bournedjah secured the three points.
