This is a tough one to call with neither side at full strength. However, Ghana have certainly had better recent form, despite losing to the Super Eagles in 2024. I am backing a home win to nil.

Nigeria have been inconsistent over the last 12 months, failing to reach the heights they had previously set. Their last game ended in a 1-1 draw at home against Zimbabwe in a World Cup qualifier.

They defeated Rwanda away in the match before than and also beat Ghana late in 2024. However, that was with mostly locally based players.

This week, Nigeria will not have all their stars from Europe available.
