Durban City made their PSL debut this past weekend having secured their first ever promtion. They beat TS Galaxy 2-0 away from home to make it a superb debut.

Samkelo Maseko and Mfanafuthi Mkhize scored second half goals to secure the points. In fact, Durban City have won their last five matches stretching back to last season.

Chippa United Form

Chippa United struggled at the backend of last season but managed to avoid relegation. They will be hoping for a far better campaign this time around.

Chippa had the toughest of starts this year, facing eight-time PSL champions, Mamelodi Sundowns. However, United went toe-to-toe with the giants and secured a very impressive 1-1 draw.

In the 32nd minute Sundowns took the lead but that was only until the 65th minute when Khaya Mfecane leveled matters.
