Pirates lost 2-1 to Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup semi-final before a 3-0 home win over Golden Arrows. A 1-1 home draw vs TS Galaxy followed as they allowed 15 shots.

After a narrow 1-0 win at SuperSport United, they drew 1-1 at AmaZulu on Saturday. A late equaliser was needed as Bucs enjoyed 66% possession but managed just three shots on target.

Caretaker coach Mandla Ncikazi has right back Bandile Shandu available after suspension. Thabiso Sesane and Olisa Ndah are injured at centre back.

Mbekezeli Mbokazi is doubtful at the back due to injury. Buitomelo Radiopane is hoping for a rare start up front.
