Bayern Munich vs Lazio Predictions - Bayern Munich to Bounce Back in the Champions League

Bayern Munich have a 2-1 advantage against Lazio in 3 matches. 

They last met three weeks ago, Lazio winning the 1st leg 1-0 in Italy. 

Results in February have been quite shocking for Bayern Munich, suffering three back to back defeats across competitions against Bayer Leverkusen 3-0, Lazio 1-0 and Bochum 3-2.  

The Bavarians finally returned to winning ways in Bundesliga with a narrow 2-1 home win against RB Leipzig, Harry Kane scoring another brace, but the follow-up clash against Freiburg last Friday brought another disappointment (2-2), leaving them ten points behind the leaders Leverkusen. 

Thomas Tuchel’s side also saw a shocking exit from the German Cup earlier this season, losing to Saarbrucken 2-1 in late 2023, which means they could easily end this campaign without one single trophy. 

Noussair Mazraoui, Kingsley Coman, Bouna Sarr and Sacha Boey are injured, while Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane are doubtful. 

Dayot Upamecano is suspended. 

Lazio won the first leg against Bayern Munich despite being an underdog, having 1.83-1.09 expected goals, 39% possession and 11-17 shots. The only goal was seen in the second half, Ciro Immobile converting a penalty after Dayot Upamecano was sent off.
