Qarabag maintained their wide 24-point lead at the summit of the Premyer Liga with a 3-1 win against Zira on Sunday. Teenage forward Nəriman Axundzadə's goal just before half-time set the Azerbaijani champions on their way to a fourth successive domestic victory.

Qurban Qurbanov's usually entertaining side have seen an average of 4.14 goals scored in their last seven Europa League matches. Qarabag also netted at least one goal in their previous nine away Europa League contests.

Qarabag boss Qurbanov is unable to call on long-term absentee Kevin Medina for Thursday's trip to Germany. Julio Romao and Elvin Cafarquliyev are available after serving suspensions in last week's first leg.
