The biggest T20 showpiece event is back on 22 March when the 2025 Indian Premier League gets underway. The 2024 champions, Kolkata Knight Riders feature against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener.
The early favourites are a slight surprise with Mumbai Indians priced at 5.00 with Tictacbets. Most of you will recall, the Mumbai side finished bottom of the table in 2024, winning just four of their 14 games.
However, based on their superb recruitment (on paper), Mumbai Indians do look ready to challenge once again. The 2024 runners-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad are paying 6.00 to win the event.
The top two are followed by the Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at 7.00 and 9.00 respectively. The bookmakers are not giving the Royal Challengers much chance, prcing them at 12.00.
