Ryan Rickelton (58 off 32 balls) got the Mumbai innings off to a flyer to reach 88/2 off 8.4 overs. Suryakumar Yadav (54 off 28) once again added valuable runs as Mumbai posted 215/7 off their 20 overs.

Trent Boult (3/20, econ 5.00) and Jasprit Bumrah (4/22, econ 5.50) were sensational with the ball as the Super Giants were rolled for 161 off the last ball of their 20 overs.
