In the recent ODI contest between Bangladesh and the West Indies, Bangladesh managed to break their four-match losing streak by defeating the West Indies by 74 runs. The star performer from Bangladesh was Rishad Hossain, who took 6/35, dismantling the West Indies' lineup. Despite a strong start from Brandon King (44) for West Indies, their middle-order faltered. Bangladesh's Towhid Hridoy scored a critical 51, contributing to their modest total of 207. With Bangladesh in form, they are unlikely to change their lineup, whereas West Indies might adjust their batting strategy.

Bangladesh struggled against good bowling to post 207 off 49.4 overs. Towhid Hridoy (51 off 90) and Mahidul Islam Ankon (46 off 76) helped their side get off to a good start, but the middle order failed to build on their start.

After a good start, the West Indies crumbled in the face of superb bowling from Rishad Hossain, who picked up 6/35 (econ 3.88) as the West Indies were dismissed for 133.

After winning back-to-back ODIs to beat Pakistan 2-1 in their three-match series, the West Indies crashed back to earth by losing to Bangladesh by 74 runs. 

Jayden Seales (3/48) starred with the ball for the West Indies as they bowled Bangladesh out for 207 off 49.4 overs.

Brandon King (44 off 60) and Alick Athanaze (27 off 36) added 51 for the first wicket, but the middle order and tail crumbled as they were rolled for 133 off 39 overs.

The West Indies need a strong contribution from their middle-order in a must-win match to level the series. They might look to add an extra batter to their lineup in the shape of Amir Jangoo at the expense of Gudakesh Motie, which would require Justin Greaves to put in a full shift with the ball.

I am backing Bangladesh to win. I am also backing Towhid Hridoy to top score for Bangladesh.

Brandon King is a good bet to top score for the West Indies.
