Namibia made it to the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Region Final after winning four straight matches. They lost to Zimbabwe in the final by seven wickets.

Louren Steenkamp (40 off 27) and Gerhard Erasmus (38 off 32) rescued Namibia from 55/3 and gave them a fighting chance after posting 167/6 off their 20 overs.

Zimbabwe put up a great chase, hitting their target with seven wickets and four balls to spare. Bernard Scholtz (2/21) was the pick of the Namibian bowlers.

Namibia have a settled squad with some big hitters and they play well as a unit. They will need to be at their best to beat South Africa, although home ground advantage might work in their favour.

South Africa made it two defeats in their last four completed matches when they lost to England by 146 runs in the 2nd T20I of their three-match series. The third match was rained-off, giving them a 1-1 share of the series.

Bjorn Fortuin (2/52) was the only Proteas bowler to pick up any wickets as England plundered the South African attack for 304 runs off their 20 overs.

South Africa got off to a good start thanks to Aiden Markram (41 off 20) before slipping to 77/4 in the 8th over. Bjorn Fortuin chipped in with 32 off 16 balls, but it was not enough as the Proteas were bundled out for 158 in the 17th over.

South Africa are fielding a team without some of their star players who are preparing for the 1st Test in Pakistan. In addition, Temba Bavuma is injured and Keshav Maharaj is unavailable. Quinton de Kock is back for South Africa and he will be looking to make an immediate impact with his style of big hitting batting.
