South Africa vs West Indies Predictions

South Africa comes into this World Cup warm-up series on the back of another successful SA20 series, so their stars are fit and firing. The West Indies have had some players shining in the SA20, but the bulk of their squad come to South Africa on the back of losing eight white-ball matches in a row before beating Afghanistan in the final match of their dead rubber. South Africa look like the team to back, in particular with home-ground advantage.

  • South Africa’s Dewald Brevis (370 runs, ave 41.11) finished 2nd in the SA20 runs list.
  • South Africa’s Ryan Rickelton scored 113, 33, 36 & 113* in his SA20 season.
  • West Indies’ Sherfane Rutherford (334 runs, S/R 165.34) was 4th in the SA20 runs list.
  • West Indies’ Shai Hope scored 276 runs (ave 27.60) in the SA20.
